Whether in terms of space, logistics or mobility, the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show is considered to be the world's most important motor show. This event takes place in Frankfurt, Germany, every odd year. The last edition of the show, the 67th, was held in 2017.
A PROGRESSIVE EVOLUTION OF THE SHOW
Since its first edition in 1897, the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show has grown steadily. As a result, the organisers came up with the idea of dividing the show in two. The IAA for commercial vehicles takes place in Hanover in every even-numbered year, while the IAA for cars takes place in Frankfurt in every odd-numbered year. The IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt is open to the general public, including professionals, amateurs and private visitors. This event is of particular interest to participants (from different countries around the world) who wish to present new products.
AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS AND EQUIPMENT
On an area of approximately 230,000 m2, the participants have the opportunity to present their products at the IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt. Leading European brands such as BMW, Volkswagen and Mercedes take part in the exhibition every year. In addition to cars, automotive equipment and accessories such as garage equipment, car parts, telematics and navigation systems are presented during the exhibition. Among the innovations on display at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show are Honda CR-VV, Audi A8, Kia Stonic, Alpina D5 S, Land Rover Discovery SVX and Opel Grandland X.
THE NEXT EVENT IN 2019
After the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2017, which took place in Frankfurt from 14 to 24 September 2017, the organisers are looking forward to seeing you in 2019, from 12 to 22 September in Frankfurt am Main. During the 11 days of the exhibition, the participants will present new products to the fans. Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the world's largest motor show.
